SITE & VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENTS

The physical environment matters.

We use industry best practices, including resources from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, and the American Society Industrial Security.

We also conduct preliminary insurance and hazmat inspections to provide a clear picture of a client’s overall security.

This information is then used to strengthen the overall emergency preparedness program, thus enhancing the quality of life for the school community, healthcare facility, or business; and helps procure DHS Emergency Preparedness grant funds.

ACTIVE THREAT TRAINING

Prepare for the unexpected.

In any emergency situation, being prepared is the key to saving lives and can only be accomplished with a unified team effort. This includes training with effective leadership and accountability.

The Active Threat Training Program is designed to provide everyone with a solid foundation of knowledge to perform and communicate during critical incidents and drills, ranging from natural disasters to active assailants.

SAFETY PLANS

A Unified Approach is Essential.

Being prepared in advance of an emergency requires complex planning with an eye towards industry standards and expectations. In the event of an actual emergency, having an up-to-date plan will help ensure that the response is effective.

Following guidelines from Federal and State resources, we provide a comprehensive review of your currently available plans.

Recommendations are then made so that the plans are up-to-date, incorporate information from local agencies, and clarify the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, HOW, and WHY in any emergency response.

ACTIVE VIOLENCE EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING

Go Beyond Active Shooter Response Training.

AVERT is an essential component to an effective, multi-layered approach to Emergency Preparedness Training. It can prove vital to your response prior, during, and after an incident involving active violence.

Elements of this training include: Recognition of Warning Signs and Situational Awareness, Active Violence Response Procedures, and Emergency Stop the Bleed Training Techniques.

RECOVERY, REUNIFICATION, & RELEASE

Three essentials to post-crisis response.

Successful reunification uses proven methods that require planning and mitigation in order to control chaos in anxiety filled situations.

The goal is to provide realistic training in the methods of the reunification process from pre- incident stages to post-incident consequence management.

This process gives the school district and public safety the ability to safely control large or small numbers of students, guardians and media at a secure site, post incident. The program ensures that families are reunited safely.

Everyone receives immediate care, counseling and follow-up information for mental health and support services long term.
