June Francis Roño, Ph.D., MBA

President & CEO

Dr. June Francis Roño is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of TRiGroup, Inc. He is a retired administrator and has served over 30 years in several senior executive management positions in public and private entities in the United States, including serving as Assistant Superintendent of Business Services and Director positions for school districts in California.

Dr. Roño has successfully provided organizational development and management services to various educational organizations and private entities. He has made a huge collaboration difference in management-union relationships in school districts, specializing even in dysfunctional environments. In addition, he has also personally managed over $1.7 billion worth of construction projects for several school districts and private businesses.

”Passion for excellence” is one of Dr. Roño’s mantras and he truly enjoys collaborating with leaders and visionaries to move their organizations forward.

Brian Rasmussen

Vice President

Mr. Rasmussen serves as one of TRiGroup’s Vice Presidents and is a California registered architect and has over thirty years of experience in the public and private construction industry. His varied experience ranges from working in a traditional architectural practice, for real estate development companies, and for design/build firms.

Being both an architect and building contractor gives Brian a unique perspective on the construction industry. He has a demonstrated ability for combining leadership, management, and technical skills to achieve clients' objectives.

Brian is well versed in all facets of public school construction and has done numerous presentations to various Board of Trustees and community groups. He has worked successfully on numerous projects coordinating with different governmental entities including the California Office of Public School Construction, Division of State Architects, and California Department of Toxic Substances Control, to name a few.

Peter Parenti, Ed.D.

Vice President

Dr. Parenti serves as one of TRiGroup's Vice Presidents and is a California credentialed teacher and administrator. He has twenty-six years of experience working in public education, serving as a middle school teacher, elementary and secondary school principal, a director of curriculum and instruction, and an assistant superintendent of educational services.

Dr. Parenti earned undergraduate degrees from California State University Hayward in Liberal Arts and the University of Florence in Italy in Renaissance literature and art history. He earned his Masters Degree from St. Mary's College of Moraga where his studies emphasized teacher leadership and high quality professional development. He earned his Doctorate Degree from the University of California at Berkeley, where his thesis focussed on issues of equity and inequity in public school leadership.

Dr. Parenti brings his extensive experience and knowledge to TRiGroup and serves as the lead for business strategic planning while providing consult to various staff in public and charter schools throughout the United States.
